Australia Wins its First Olympic Gold in Women’s Rugby Sevens at Rio 2016

The World championships Australia has fully overpowered their continental neighbors New Zealand in the starting minutes of the 2nd half for taking the gold medal at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics 2016 Deodoro Stadium winning in the event Women’s Rugby Sevens with 24-17. The black women couldn’t match up with the yellow for speed, strength as well as aggression.

During the break the Aussies only had a slight lead but they never seem like giving up. In the second half, Ellia Green has tried for few minutes were the one which killed the game even though the Charlotte Caslick has followed soon taking 17 points clear. Again with the late try by the Portia Woodman made their score respectable for the blacks. Recently, the Rugby sevens team of the Australia has been going through some drought but, finally here is the smile for them winning first Olympic gold in the team event at Rio.
