The nation Argentina has won its first Olympic Games Gold Medal in the men’s Hockey tournament beating the Belgium 4-2 in the Rio Olympics final on 18th August 2016, Thursday at Olympic Hockey Centre. After 2 minutes and 35 seconds, Belgium has taken the lead i.e., when Tanguy Cosyns has redirected the sublime pass from Loick Luypaert for beating the goalkeeper Juan Vivaldi of the Argentina.
Finally, Argentina has hit back to the quarter end from a penalty corner i.e., when the match leading scorer Gonzalo Peillat feigned to fire but he have dashed the ball for the Pedro Ibarra the Captain for firing home and level to level the score to 1-1. With just 41 seconds remaining in the opening quarters, Argentina has taken the lead when the Ignacio Ortiz has scored the field goal before the Peillat has claimed his 11 goal of the match and Belgium has starved for the opportunity. Despite of several chances to score equal score in the final time, Belgium failed in it. But, the result of the Belgium is also best in the men’s hockey at the Rio Olympic Games after the past best at the 1920 Antwerp Olympic Games.
