Latest Olympics 2016 Update: Rafael Nadal to Play at Rio

According to the latest Rio Olympic news, Rafael Nadal is ready for competing at the Olympics 2016 after he has been sidelined because of the wrist injury for over two months. On Monday, the 14 times major Olympic champion has competed with his fellow star Spaniard David Ferrer on the court of practice in Rio de Janeiro’s Olympic park.

Since May 27 i.e., the champion has been pulled out of the French Opens before the 3rd round of the competition due to the injury to his wrist. After that, on Monday he has been seen wearing a blue shirt and having white cap, he had a white colored bandage on his left hand or the wrist. But, the good thing is that he has shown no signs of injury that he played with the Ferrer under the hot sun. Nadal has been watched by the coach and uncle, Spanish squad coach Conchita Martinez and Toni Nadal.

Nadal has refused to speak to the reporters after completing the session saying that, he will be speaking on Tuesday. Ferrer has told to the Nadal that he looks very good. Now, the Nadal has been scheduled for carrying out the Spanish flag at the Olympics 2016 Opening Ceremony i.e., on 5th August 2016 Friday night at the Maracana Stadium.
