The goal of triple-triple gold at Rio for the Jamaican Usain Bolt is at his footsteps after having won the second gold at the Olympics 2016 Games in 200m which is his eight Olympic gold medal. The Jamaican has ran in 19.78 seconds to reach home ahead of the Andre de Grasse of Canada and France's Christophe Lemaitre. More Chance for Bolt to Complete His Triple-Triple Aim
Already the 29 year old Bolt has won the 100m gold at Rio and now in 200m. Soon he would complete the 4x100m relay final that takes place on Friday i.e., 02:35 BST on Saturday and would completed his triple-triple goal winning a gold in that race too. He is aiming to match his achievement of getting the gold in 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay at the London 2012 and Beijing 2008 and the chances for him are much more to complete his aim.
On Friday, Bolt has said that he would retire after completing the 2017 world championships. He has won all the 8 of the Olympic Games finals in which he has participated. Apart from him, only the US long jumper and sprinter Carl Lewis as well as Finnish long-distance runner Paavo Nurmi have won more Olympic gold’s among the athletics.
