Rio 2016 Update: Robson Conceicao Wins Historic Boxing First Gold for Host Nation

According to the latest Rio Games update, Brazil’s Robson Canceicao – the Olympic champion in boxing has got an unprecedented achievement in the sports history in the Brazil. In the light weight title for the race i.e., up to 60 kg, he has controlled from starting to the end of the fight and has won over the French Sofiane Oumiha in a unanimous decision. In such way, the Brazil has won its 3rd gold medal in the Rio 2016 games and its 2nd novel after the Thiago Braz victory on the late of 15th August 2016, Monday in the event pole vault. Brazil Loses to Croatia and is out of Contention to Get Men’s Water Polo Medal at Rio

In another Olympic event, Brazil which has obtained the best classification of its history in the Olympic Water Polo Games is out of medal contention. On 16th August 2016, Tuesday, the men’s team has been eliminated by the Croatia which has won 10-6 tournament that was played at the Olympic Aquatic Stadium in which the result was not that surprising as tamanhca was the tradition and the strength of Croatia. Though Brazil is out of contention, it still plays for setting the final score. As per the Perrone, when it has been 8-6 he said that they would have chance but added that the opposite team was too good, also added that, they have to raise their head and try to stay in the 5th place.

Brazilian Robert Scheidt Says Good Bye for His Sixth Edition of Olympic Games without Medal

The 43 year old largest Brazilian Robert Scheidt, has come to Rio and competed his best in the Laser Class which wants a lot of physical part and fought for it till the end of the medal race. Though he has won and applauded by the audience on 16th of August 2016, Tuesday which filled the Marina da Gloria, the final result was not that enough for staying on the podium for the sixth consecutive time. Overall, he has finished in 4th place. The surprising thing is that, it was his last race laser. But, he was not ruled out running the next Olympic Games in 2020 Tokyo in another class.
