Here is the latest update of the Rio 2016 Olympics. On 12th of July 2016, Tuesday night the official posters for the Rio Olympic sports have been unveiled at the iconic Museum of Tomorrow of the city.
13 Rio Olympic Games Posters Produced by 13 Artists
According to the official information from the official sources, it is known that this total work of images have been produced and created by 12 artists of Brazil and they are, Antônio Dias, Alexandre Mancini, Beatriz Milhazes, Ana Clara Schindler, Claudio Tozzi, Gringo Cardia, Gustavo Piqueira, Gustavo Greco, Guto Lacaz, Kobra, Juarez Machado and Rico Lins. Along with these 12 artists one of the Colombian has also done the work and she is Olga Amaral. With this a total of 13 artists have made these creations and they are going to be a part of this Olympic history.
A total of 13 posters have been created by the artists. These posters were a tradition of Olympic sports right from the first posters that have been produced for the Games in Stockholm in the year 1912. The selection committee has selected those posters and thus they remain as artifacts of every Olympic Games edition.
Rio 2016 Official Posters for Olympic Sports Exhibited in Museum of Tomorrow
It is said that, these Rio 2016 Olympic Games posters will be exhibited in the Museum of Tomorrow in the Praca Maua which is known to be the center of attraction of the Rio’s recharged water front area. These posters will be in exhibition till 22nd of July 2016 and on which they are said to be moved to the Olympic park Deodoro. It is also known that the reproduction of these official posters will be made out in two different sizes and they are 28cm x 42cm which is for R$30 and the other is 60cm x 90cm which is for R$50 both for the museum shop as well as official stores of the Rio 2016.
