USA Women’s Olympic Gymnastics Team Announced for Rio 2016

After the two days of competition that has been held at Olympic trials, on Sunday night the Women’s Olympic Gymnastics team of the US has been announced which includes five women in which among them few are similar faces along with debutants or the new ones.

Five Athletes and Three Replacement Gymnasts to Drive to Summer Olympics 2016 

It is known that, the five selected gymnasts Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas, Laurie Hernandez and Madison Kocian will be representing the country USA at this Summer Olympics 2016 that will be held at Rio de Janeiro. Before the committee of the selection has announced these names, the favorites Aly Raisman and Simone Biles have cried and hold each other. Apart from these athletes, the other replacement gymnasts who will be travelling to Rio include the Mykayla Skinner, Ashton Locklear and Ragan Smith.

Skinner after being named as the replacement of selected gymnast at Rio has told that, she is so proud and that she just wanted to go there and go rock the night and to go four-for-four. And that what she has done. The gymnast Skinner has unbelievable performance at two nights of the Olympic trials. The lady has completed in the 4th place among those points that are standing. As an athlete of replacement, Skinner is said to be trained and then travelled to Rio.

The US Women’s gymnast team for Rio 2016 is said to be very good finally which is said to be lead by the Simone Biles who have won 4 national titles as well as 3 consecutive all-around world titles. The Douglas was a coming back all-around gold champion, Raisman has been a part of the 2012 London Olympics who is said to be the best all-around performer in the entire team as she is old to the gymnastics. Even Hernandez and Kocian are solid and there are expectations on the entire team on bringing gold to the home country.
