Vinod Kumar: Australian Wrestler Kicked Off from Rio 2016 Olympic Team against Doping Suspension

Recently, the Wrestler of the Australia – Vinod Kumar has faced the expulsion from the Olympic team of the Australia selected for the Rio after attaining the suspension of doping. The six times Olympic star Vinod Kumar who is known to be one of the two wrestlers selected in the discipline Greco-Roman have been tested positive at Olympic qualifier of the African/Oceania in the month of April at Algeria. Another test of Vinod’s B sample has also been tested as positive and ha was banned for 4 years. But, the thing is that he has 30 days for appealing.

On Friday, the Olympic Committee of the Australia had told that, it has asked the Australia’s wrestling to withdraw Vinod Kumar’s nominations from the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Already it is known that Vinod’s profile has been taken out of the Olympic team website of the Australia.

The 30 year old Vinod Kumar was born in the country India and became the citizen of the Australia in the year 2015 who represented the nation for the first time in the month of March. At that time, he has won gold medal at the Oceania championships in the country New Zealand before going to Algeria for confirming regarding his qualification. Since the year 2010, vinod went to Australia as a student, he has been trained there after which he has been purportedly beaten by the Indian fellow wrestler.

The United World Wrestling and international wrestling body have indicated that, Vinod’s place will not be reallocated to any other Australian.
