On 20th July 2016, Wednesday, The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has said that, the Doping Control Laboratory of the Brazil at Rio de Janeiro is now ready to start back its anti-doping analysis with immediate effect. It is known that WADA has lifted a provisional suspension which has been imposed on the laboratory on 24th of June. As pert he Agency, the Brazilian Anti-Doping laboratory has successfully accumulated with all the necessities for the reinstatement.
With this decision made, the lab is now completely ready for the analyzing blood and urine samples for all the athletes at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and Paralympic games.

Olivier Niggli - The Director General of the WADA has said that, all parties have worked intentionally for resolving the issues that are identified so that laboratory is now up and running desirably for Olympic and Paralympic Games of Rio de Janeiro which will begin on 5th of August 2016. He also added that, the athletes of the Rio can be confident that the samples of the Anti-Doping were robust throughout the suspension of the Laboratory and that it will also be the same at the time of games.
